Understanding the Non-Health Determinants of Family Planning Use among Women in Disasters in the Philippines

A study on the non-health determinants of family planning (FP) use in disaster-prone regions of the Philippines found that geographic location, socio-economic status, governance quality, discrimination, and shock and fragility significantly impacted women’s FP experiences. The study recommends enhancing access to free FP commodities and investing in disaster-resilient FP service delivery systems.
